The Oakland Raiders' ninth season was in 1968, and it was the third season John Rauch served as the head coach of the team. The Raiders played their home games at Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New York Jets 27-23.
