The Houston Oilers' eighth season was in 1967, and it was the second season Wally Lemm served as the head coach of the team. The Oilers played their home games at Rice Stadium. They finished the year 9-4-1 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Oakland Raiders 40-7.
