The Los Angeles Rams' thirteenth season was in 1948, playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. During the offseason they hired Clark Shaughnessy to lead the team. Shaughnessy previously was the offensive consultant of the Washington Redskins and had one year of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 6-5-1, 3-2-1 at home and 3-3-0 on the road.
