The Pittsburgh Steelers' forty-second season was in 1975, and it was the seventh season Chuck Noll served as the head coach of the team. The Steelers played their home games at Three Rivers Stadium. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the Central, and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Dallas Cowboys 21-17, the team's second championship win. At the end of the season Lynn Swann earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and Mel Blount earned AP Defensive Player of the Year.
