The Baltimore Colts' second season was in 1954, playing their home games at Memorial Stadium. During the offseason they hired Weeb Ewbank to lead the team. Ewbank previously was the tackles coach of the Cleveland Browns and had five years of coaching experience in the AAFC and NFL. They finished the season 3-9-0, 2-4-0 at home and 1-5-0 on the road.
