Biography

Sylvester Croom was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1987 until 2017, finishing his career with the Tennessee Titans as their running backs coach. Over his twenty-six years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 175-240-0.

During the 1997 season as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions he coached Barry Sanders to the Most Valuable Player and AP Offensive Player of the Year.
