Biography

Tom Bettis was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1966 until 1994, finishing his career with the Houston Oilers as their defensive backs coach. Over his twenty-seven years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 193-199-8. He was also the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs for the 1977 season. The Chiefs went 2-12-0 in this lone season as a head coach. During his career he was a head coach for one seasons.
