Career Summary

Tim Atkins is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the safeties coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2026. Before moving into this role on the Buccaneers he held three other positions with the team. His previous position was as the team's assistant secondary coach for four seasons. He began his stint with the Buccaneers in 2019 as the defensive quality control coach. Atkins will be the safeties coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2026 season.
