Biography

Career Summary

John Timu is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the assistant defensive line coach for the Los Angeles Chargers since 2023. Before moving into this role on the Chargers he held three other positions with the team. His previous position was as the team's defensive assistant coach for one season. He began his stint with the Chargers in 2021 as the alex g. spanos coaching fellowship. Timu will be the new defensive assistant coach for the Atlanta Falcons for the 2024 season.
