During his career, he won the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1993, playing for the Los Angeles Rams; the Comeback Player of the Year in 1996, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers; and the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2001, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
