Career Summary
Gus Dorais was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1943 to 1952, finishing his career as the backfield coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over his six years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 25-38-2. He was the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 1943 until the 1947 season, during which time the Lions went 20-31-2. During his career he was a head coach for five seasons.
