The Dallas Cowboys' first season was in 1960. During the offseason they hired Tom Landry to lead the team. Landry previously was the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants and had six years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 0-11-1, 0-6-0 at home and 0-5-1 on the road.
