The New York Giants' first season was in 1925, playing their home games at Polo Grounds. During the offseason they hired Bob Folwell to lead the team. Folwell had never previously coached in the NFL in any capacity before the 1925 season. They finished the season 8-3-0, 7-1-0 at home and 1-2-0 on the road.
