The Boston Redskins' fifth season was in 1936, playing their home games at Fenway Park. During the offseason they hired Ray Flaherty to lead the team. Flaherty previously was the assistant coach of the New York Giants and had one year of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the regular season 7-5-0 and continued to the postseason. They faced the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs and lost 21-6.
