Biography
Ed Weir was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1927 until 1928, finishing his career with the Frankford Yellow Jackets as their head coach. Over his two years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 15-6-5. During his career he was the head coach of the Frankford Yellow Jackets from 1927 until the 1928 season. The Jackets went 15-6-5 during their two seasons with Weir as head coach. Throughout Weir's coaching career his teams led the league in victories during the 1928 season.
