Biography

Elgie Tobin was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1920 until 1921, finishing his career with the Akron Pros as their co-head coach. Over his two years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 16-3-4. During his career he was the head coach of the Akron Pros for the 1920 season. The Pros went 8-0-3 during his lone season as a head coach.
