Career Summary

Mike Rutenberg is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive pass game coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons since 2025. Prior to this season, he coached for the Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets for fifteen seasons. His most recent position was with the Jets as their linebackers coach. Rutenberg was hired as the new defensive passing game coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons for the 2025 season.
