Career Summary
Cecil Isbell was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1947 to 1952, finishing his career as the backfield coach of the Dallas Texans. Over his six years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 19-56-1. He was the head coach of the Baltimore Colts from 1947 until the 1949 season, during which time the Colts went 10-29-1. During his career he was a head coach for three seasons.
