Career Summary

Chuck Fairbanks was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1973 to 1978, finishing his career as the head coach of the New England Patriots. Over his six years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 46-40-0. He was the head coach of the New England Patriots from 1973 until the 1978 season, during which time the Patriots went 46-40-0. During his career he was a head coach for six seasons.

Career Awards

During the 1976 season as the head coach of the New England Patriots he coached Mike Haynes to the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
