The Miami Dolphins' twentieth season was in 1985, and it was the sixteenth season Don Shula served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New England Patriots 31-14. At the end of the season, Dwight Stephenson was awarded with the Man of the Year award.
