The Miami Dolphins' twentieth season was in 1985, and it was the sixteenth season Don Shula served as the head coach of the team. The Dolphins played their home games at Miami Orange Bowl. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New England Patriots 31-14. At the end of the season, Dwight Stephenson was awarded with the Man of the Year award.
