The Rochester Jeffersons' first season was in 1920. During the offseason they hired Jack Forsyth to lead the team. Forsyth had never previously coached in the NFL in any capacity before the 1920 season. They finished the season 6-3-2, 5-2-1 at home and 1-1-1 on the road.
