Career Summary
J.D. Roberts was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1967 to 1972, finishing his career as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Over his five years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 15-50-5. He was the head coach of the New Orleans Saints from 1971 until the 1972 season, during which time the Saints went 6-19-3. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons.
