Career Summary

Daronte Jones is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders since 2026. Prior to this season, he coached for the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings for nine seasons. His most recent position was with the Vikings as their defensive passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach. Jones will be the defensive coordinator of the Washington Commanders for the 2026 season.
