Charlie Sanders was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1989 to 1996, finishing his career as the wide receivers coach of the Detroit Lions. Over his eight years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 64-64-0.

Sanders was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007 after his playing career.
