Billy Marshall was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1920 to 1921, finishing his career as the head coach of the Detroit Tigers. Over his two years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 3-8-4. He was the head coach of the Detroit Heralds from 1920 until the 1921 season, during which time the Heralds went 3-8-4. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons.
