Career Summary
Lone Star Dietz was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1933 to 1934, finishing his career as the head coach of the Boston Redskins. Over his two years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 11-11-2. He was the head coach of the Boston Redskins from 1933 until the 1934 season, during which time the Redskins went 11-11-2. During his career he was a head coach for two seasons.
Dietz was born on Sunday, August 17, 1884 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He died on Monday, July 20, 1964 at the age of 79.
