Career Summary

Al Harris is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive passing game coordinator/defensive backs coach for the Chicago Bears since 2025. Prior to this season, he coached for the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys for twelve seasons. His most recent position was with the Cowboys as their assistant head coach/defensive backs coach. Harris was hired as the new defensive backs coach and defensive passing game coordinator of the Chicago Bears for the 2025 season.
