Jerod Mayo is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the head coach for the New England Patriots since 2024. Before moving into this role on the Patriots he held three other positions with the team. His previous position was as the team's linebackers coach for one season. He began his stint with the Patriots in 2019 as the inside linebackers coach. He was the head coach of the Patriots for the 2024 season. The Patriots went 2-6-0 in this lone season as a head coach.
