The Seattle Seahawks' ninth season was in 1984, and it was the second season Chuck Knox served as the head coach of the team. The Seahawks played their home games at Kingdome. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Miami Dolphins 31-10. At the end of the season Chuck Knox earned Coach of the Year and Kenny Easley earned AP Defensive Player of the Year.
