The Cincinnati Bengals' third season was in 1970, and it was the third season Paul Brown served as the head coach of the team. The Bengals played their home games at Riverfront Stadium. They finished the year 8-6-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC Central, but they lost their first playoff game to the Baltimore Colts 17-0. At the end of the season, Paul Brown was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
