The Miami Dolphins' forty-second season was in 2007, playing their home games at Dolphin Stadium. During the offseason they hired Cam Cameron to lead the team. Cameron previously was the offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers and had eight years of coaching experience in the NFL. He was fired from the Dolphins on Thursday, January 3, 2008. They finished the season 1-15-0, 1-7-0 at home and 0-8-0 on the road. At the end of the season, Jason Taylor was awarded with the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
