The St. Louis Rams' sixty-fourth season was in 1999, and it was the third season Dick Vermeil served as the head coach of the team. The Rams played their home games at Trans World Dome. He retired from the Rams on Wednesday, February 2, 2000. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Tennessee Titans 23-16, the team's third championship win. At the end of the season Dick Vermeil earned Coach of the Year; Kurt Warner earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player; and Marshall Faulk earned AP Offensive Player of the Year.
