The Los Angeles Rams' fifteenth season was in 1950, playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. During the offseason they promoted Joe Stydahar to lead the team. Stydahar previously was the line coach of the Los Angeles Rams and had three years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the regular season 9-3-0 and continued to the postseason. In their first game they faced the Chicago Bears, winning 24-14. They faced the Cleveland Browns for the NFL championship, losing 30-28.
