The Los Angeles Rams' fifty-first season was in 1986, and it was the fourth season John Robinson served as the head coach of the team. The Rams played their home games at Anaheim Stadium. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Washington Redskins 19-7. At the end of the season, Eric Dickerson was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
