The Indianapolis Colts' fifty-fourth season was in 2006, and it was the fifth season Tony Dungy served as the head coach of the team. The Colts played their home games at RCA Dome. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC South, and 4-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Chicago Bears 29-17, the team's fifth championship win. At the end of the season, Peyton Manning was awarded with the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award.
